These Proactiv Solution bottles by Kate Carmack are an ingenious concept for the three-step acne treatment.
Noting that the current design of Proactiv is quite clinical, Carmack's packaging concept takes a minimalist approach, but in a very clever way. The bottles make the order that they should be applied in quite clear, without simply stamping the numbers one, two and three on them. The bottles use graphics with perfectly-placed lines to form abstracted numbers. The forms of the bottles interlock when they are lined up beside one another, sculpting a perfect trio. This subtly communicates that each puzzle-piece like bottle is integral to the Proactiv Solution.
In addition to providing interest and a form of visual instruction, Carmack's design is also gender-neutral.
