These Pop Culture Images Imagine Movie Scenes in Dollhouses
Michael Baxter — February 10, 2014 — Art & Design
Pop culture images are so ubiquitous with culture that they're understood no matter how they're portrayed. These images take a two dimensional look at famous movie sets.
Frederico Babina grabbed 17 famous movies and recreated them in 2D with one intention in mind: make the images look as if they were being viewed in a dollhouse. These images do the scenes justice, while also making for a curious view into otherwise famous movie scenes.
The point of the posters is to make people feel as if they can walk into a famous movie set. The posters essentially de-mystify blockbuster film settings. These pop culture image posters include a variety of movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and Star Wars, so if anybody was wondering what the sets on those movies looked like, this may be the closest we can get.
