British freelance animator Cyriak’s 'Polar Party' ad is one way to convey the “multidimensional feeling of happiness, satisfaction and delicious refreshment” of enjoying a bottle of Coca-Cola.
The ad, which is also an animated game that comes a video game, psychadelic soundtrack to it, begins by showing the iconic Coca-Cola polar bear floating on a chunk of ice in the sea with a snowman and a bottle of Coke. What happens after, though, is trippy as it is entertaining.
The ad shows the animal transforming into a two headed polar bear, while the snowman behind turns into a bubble blowing dinosaur. The “Polar Party” then shows the polar bear splitting up and forming three ballerina bears, before the ice float changes to a tropical island. The polar bear is seen with a ring in its stomach acting as a jump-through hoop for smaller polars bears that are being ejected from a long-legged seagull’s backside. The scene finally changes to an orca with a flock of penguins on it being knocked over by a bowling ball, with a seagull in the ball hoisted by balloons playing the drums. Cyriak’s work is bemusing, while ridiculously amusing in equal measure.
