MycoWorks is introducing Reishi as a plant-based leather alternative that can be used in similar ways to animal hide. According to MycoWorks, Reishi is "a new class of fine leather crafted from natural mycelium" and the premium material has the potential to be used for everything from clothing and bags to durable footwear designs. Just like animal-derived leather, Reishi can be customized to suit different applications, as seen with different versions of the product like Black Emboss and Brown Natural, available in both regular and high strength options.
