'PhotoVogue' is Expanding and Accepting Multimedia Submissions
Colin Smith — January 24, 2022 — Pop Culture
'PhotoVogue,' the digital photography sharing platform curated by Vogue Italia, has announced that it will now be accepting submissions across the globe. In addition to this, PhotoVogue will now be accepting more forms of media than simply photography, including audio-based, illustrative, and video-based media. This will include large-scale projects, so submissions are not limited to short media.
PhotoVogue's mission is to promote inclusivity, diversity, and opportunities for everyone in the talent industry. The magazine has stated that it will then organize submissions by artist name, region, location, and "keywords such as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, disability, and feminism." With this change, PhotoVogue is shining a light on the diverse range of talent around the globe and shedding its previous curation system which focused solely on photography and was minimally searchable.
