Geared is a novel card game for two to four players that has participants scramble to collect bike part cards in order to assemble bikes and earn points. Like any good card game, other players have the chance to halt your bike-building progress in its tracks by stealing, removing and swapping out one bike part for another. To add even more interest to the game, bike part cards are assigned different levels to assign value to finished bikes.
The game designed for kids ages 12 and up is simple and fast-paced, taking only about 20 to 30 minutes per round. Earlier this year, Geared ran as part of a highly successful crowdfunding campaign that doubled its initial fundraising goals.
