The New Instagram Update Will Allow Users to Sort Their Saved Posts
Riley von Niessen — April 18, 2017 — Social Media
It seems there's been a new Instagram update every other day lately, but it's all with the intention of making the photo-sharing app more efficient, useful, and fun.
Not too long ago, the company included a feature that allowed users to save posts for later viewing, which makes for a less cumbersome alternative to screenshotting everything one likes so that they don't lose it in the ever-changing feeds. With the new Instagram update however, users will be able to categorize their saved pictures, so that they can make albums with in the app and find their favorite places, accounts, and images more efficiently.
To use the feature, all one has to do is "hold the bookmark icon beneath any post to save it directly to a collection."
