Nestle Purina celebrated Cat Day in February earlier this year by establishing the 'Restaurant Mon Petit,' serving gourmet food to humans, inspired by its luxury cat food, Mon Petit. The restaurant was open for less than a week, but it was so successful, now the feline-inspired restaurant is back in Tokyo for a whole month.
Items on the menu like tuna, turkey and chicken dishes are shaped like they just came out of a can, which really makes the dishes look like cat food. To make the experience even more bizarre, the waiters that serve the patrons of Restaurant Mon Petit are of course, fully dressed like cats. Although the concept is totally off the wall, it’s a brilliant way to get people to understand what "gourmet" means for their pets.
