Music Lives is a Three-Day Virtual Event on Oculus Venues
Laura McQuarrie — April 18, 2020 — Pop Culture
Live music streaming platform LiveXLive is hosting a multi-day concert on Oculus Venues that gives people the chance to tune in virtually using their Oculus Quest or Go headset. The three-day Music Lives event is free to watch and it helps to support MusiCares and other organizations that are providing COVID-19 relief funds. With Music Lives, Oculus users will be able to see performances by Balvin, Swae Lee, Anitta, Big Gigantic and dozens of other artists.
Oculus Venues sets live events in a virtual stadium, making it possible for attendees to see everything from comedy shows to sporting events. As it's unclear when people will be able to gather in large crowds again, virtual events of this nature may be the norm for the forseeable future.
