These print ads by Kyle Stopperan for the Medical Center of the Rockies are incredibly cute. Stopperan uses images of a feverish bullfrog, a snarling dog, a bottle of Pepto-Bismol, a skateboarding senior, and a sliding baseball player to illustrate times in which a patient might need to head to the hospital.
I'm particularly fond of the feverish bullfrog--that's exactly how I feel (and look, I'm sure) when I'm under the weather!
Implications - Businesses that incorporate the use of endearing animals into the marketing and branding of their products will appeal to a very large audience in modern society. Consumers will find such strategies to be welcoming, warm and indicative of the compassion a particular business or company is willing to demonstrate.
