Renown Valpolicella producer Masi Agricola has announced the launch of 'Fresco di Masi,' a new range of "uncomplicated," fresh wines that aim to capitalize on the growing demand for sustainable and organic wine products.
The new line comprises a unique red blend called 'Fresco di Masi Rosso Verona' and a sophisticated white, 'Fresco di Masi Bianco Verona,' both of which blend local and international varieties. The red consists of 70% Corvina from Zuane and 30% Merlot, giving it a unique cherry finish. Meanwhile, the white comprises 60% Garganega, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Grigio.
Raffaele Boscaini, head of Masi Agricola, believes that the 'Fresco di Masi' range showcases the power of simplicity and purity when making high-quality wines. Masi Agricola is “more interested in what was in their mouth than what was behind the label – the territory, the history, or the technique,” he explained.
