'London Denim Intelligent Design' recently launched a new line of low-impact clothing. Although many companies use organic materials and sustainable production methods, the manufacturing process is still incredibly complex. In contrast, London Denim Intelligent Design takes a light-touch approach to making quality organic tees.
The low-impact tees are made from ultra-soft 185 gsm cotton jersey that is locally harvested in Turkey and then spun in Portugal. The material is cut into two pieces and then sewn together using a single-stitch process. While the hems of the sleeves and torso are left raw, the durable knit fabric prevents the garment from unraveling. The simplistic production process means that the product has a minimal impact on the environment and an extremely small carbon footprint.
London Denim Intelligent Design is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for like-minded individuals to support its cause.
