Timberland recently unveiled the new ‘Comfort from Nature’ collection that boasts fabrics made from impossibly soft recycled cotton and wood pulp, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers using REFIBRA™ technology. The collection is made of lightweight, durable fabric that is both breathable and cooling.
In addition, the Comfort from Nature series is expertly crafted exclusively from renewable and recycled materials including upcycled cotton scraps from several garment productions. According to the brand, "it starts with wood pulp from eucalyptus trees, a renewable raw material that comes from sustainably managed forests." This wood pulp is then converted to fibers that are mixed with excess cotton from manufacturing that would have otherwise gone to waste. This combined raw material is finally transformed to produce new virgin TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers to make the fabric, then the garment.
Priced under $100, the ‘Comfort From Nature’ collection is now available to shop via Timberland's website and includes t-shirts, sweatpants, and hoodies.
