High-fashion and athletes are colliding with the news of the Louis Vuitton and the NBA partnership that will see the two organizations working together to create co-branded capsule collections. The first-ever travel case for the Larry O'Brien Trophy has been shown off as an elegant luggage style that will securely stow the award during transportation. The case was unveiled prior to the first-ever regular season game that's taking place in Paris on January 24, which will also mark the NBA's first official appearance in Paris since 2010.
The trophy case was created by six craftsmen over the course of 100 hours at the Louis Vuitton workshop just outside of Paris in Asnières-sur-Seine. It features the brand's iconic monogram along with a bright white 'V' for victory that's accented by red and blue trim to correlate to the NBA logo.
