Long John Whisky Packaging Takes the Look of a Castle Tower

The question of how to house a blended Scotch for the Long John Whisky packaging strategy took a literal direction. Ginkgo B of France worked on this concept container, modelling it on the tower of an old Scottish fortress. The PET bottle has been molded and textured such that it appears to have been built up by small blocks of stone. Crowning the cylinders are even crenelation details that are reminiscent of real architecture.

The translucent material has been tinted golden and offers a view of the vessel's neck and top inside. To finish off Long John Whisky packaging, the designer applied stickers that emphasize the medieval theme. Red and black inks form truly old-fashioned typefaces and they have been printed on parchment-hued backdrops for an antique label aesthetic.
