Perch Uses Lift-and-Learn Technology Associated with Packaging

Unilever partnered with retail marketing platform Perch to offer lift-and-learn technology in stores. The interactive product display works in tandem with the product's packaging to display information on the selected item.

End caps in the beauty section incorporate a digital screen that automatically senses what product the shopper touches. In response, the display produces videos and information about the same product, without the need to scan a QR code or touch a screen. The gamified experience aims to communicate "Unilver's positive beauty vision for people and planet, promotion inclusion and wellness, with Dove being the appropriate brand for this partnership." The Dove product packaging reveals insight into its contents through the interactive digital platform, thereby increasing consumer knowledge.
