Lambay Whiskey’s ‘Single Malt 20 Year Old, Castle Prestige Edition’ is a new artistic collaboration between the distillery and local Irish artist David Norton. Along with Sean Scully, James Surls, and Hughie O'Donoghue, David is a well-known photographer and artist who has lent his talent to Lambay for its new island-inspired bottle.
One of the ten prints will be secured by winning bids. The artist will get 20% of the commission revenue, and 5% of each sale will go towards Birdwatch Ireland's Bird Flu Appeal, which entitles the purchaser to membership and financial assistance for protecting Lambay Island's natural species.
Each print is supplied with a QR code sticker and signed, numbered, and verified by the artist. Using this code, the artwork's narrative inspiration may be unlocked, providing the spectator with an engaging experience focused on the porphyry rock.
