Hampton Creek's Just Mayo is a plant-based, cruelty-free and eco-friendly mayonnaise. In creating Just Mayo, Hampton Creek Foods' founder and CEO Josh Tetrick was focused on issues that surround eggs—they're high cholesterol, tend to come from chickens that are kept in poor living conditions and they put quite a strain on the agricultural industry. Instead of this, Just Mayo was developed as a healthy and wholesome alternative to other mayonnaise spreads and dressings on the market.
As for what you'll find in Just Mayo, they're all things you can pronounce: non-GMO canola oil, filtered water, lemon juice, white vinegar, organic sugar, salt, pea protein, spices, food starch and beta-carotene, which is a great source of B12 for vegans and vegetarians. Although it's often assumed that healthy foods are more expensive, Just Mayo is quite the opposite, and is often sold at discount retailers like Dollar Tree.
