Jermaine Jackson announced yesterday that he and his brothers will begin to tour "sometime in 2008" and that "Michael will be involved" "He Has to Be, He's a Jackson". He states, "We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public" Michael Jackson is yet to be confirmed, but reports suggest that this is not a hoax, and that this could be the first time since 2001 they were together on stage. In 2001 Michael and The Jacksons performed for a TV special.
The Jackson Five, which included Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael, and later younger brother Randy, were formally introduced to the public by Diana Ross, later they became regulars on the Andy Williams Show. They stopped touring during the '80s when Michael and Janet branched out on their own and became superstars in their own right. The group officially disbanded in 1990.
