Holloway Li’s debut furniture collection is inspired by the ‘Diary Room’ on the popular American reality show, Big Brother. In the show, the room featured a giant chair that rapidly became a symbol of the series, and Holloway Li has now reinvented it for a more contemporary audience.
The furniture series, dubbed ‘T4,’ will be unveiled at the upcoming London Design Festival as the studio’s first-ever collection. The chairs rely heavily on elements of nostalgia, arriving in four colors: ‘Melon Yellow,’ ‘Blush Pink,’ ‘Overground Orange,’ and ‘Cream Soda.’ The chairs feature a shell frame made from automotive composites, and the overall design is reminiscent of the ‘90s and early ‘00s.
The collaboration will be unveiled at the The Market Building in London's Clerkenwell from September 17-25.
