The HERO eau de cologne by Symrise was created to pay homage to essential workers and the scent is also being shared for free with the everyday heroes of the lockdown—like hospital staff, supermarket employees and more. To create the fragrance, 19 perfumers joined forces to capture the unique essence and energy of selfless efforts. The scent boasts notes of Madagascar mandarin orange, bergamot, peppermint and ginger, followed by ambrette seed, iris and rose aroma, plus a comforting base of gaiac wood, sandalwood, Madagascar vetiver, cypress and vanillin.
All proceeds from the sale of the product will be donated to the AFAA SOS Anosmie to support awareness and research for sensory disorders.
