HeForShe is a gender equality movement that operates on the principal that equality is not only a women's issue, but a human issue. Taking that concept and moving forward, design studio DIA created a HeForShe logo that features the intersection of male and female symbols joining in solidarity.
The coupling is meant to signify men and women working together; more specifically, the unified logo is meant to become a symbol of its own, representing humanity and gender equality.
Using bold typography, strong colors and thoughtful design that combines both masculine and feminine aesthetics, DIA created a branding concept that speaks to the movement's ultimate objective. The project was headed by creative director Mitchell Paon, project manager Meg Donohoe and featured website development by Briteweb.
