'The Beach Look Good On You' Campaign Encourages New Yorkers to Vacation

The Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau has created quite the publicity stunt with its heated bus shelter. Located in New York at the corner of at Lexington and Third Avenue, it was set up with the sole purpose of enticing locals to visit Florida for some much-needed beach time. Appropriately enough, the campaign has been dubbed 'The Beach Looks Good On You.'
Complete with beach chair-inspired benches and two lovely models wearing nothing more than swimsuits, the heated bus shelter is meant to coincide with the Super Bowl. For those lucky enough to feel the warmth of its embrace, commuters are also given sunglasses and free Metro cards. The campaign will then move to Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall on January 28th.
