The World Surf League Launched the New ‘Glowing Glowing Gone’ Campaign

The World Surf League recently debuted its new global campaign 'Glowing Glowing Gone' that was created in collaboration with the non-profit Coral Gardeners. The campaign seeks to raise awareness about coral reef conservation while also highlighting the catastrophic dangers of losing the oxygen creating plants.

The Glowing Glowing Gone commercial shows how corals begin glowing in vivid colors as a signal of their stress. These colors -- Glowing Yellow, Glowing Blue, and Glowing Purple -- are represented in the campaign and in branding for the Tahiti Pro Teahupoo presented by Hurley's surfing event. In an effort to offset the carbon footprint of the surfing event in Tahiti, the World Surf League and the Coral Gardeners are working to planting baby corals onto the reefs to encourage the living plants to regrow.
