Chicago’s Replay Lincoln Park arcade bar regularly hosts themed pop-ups and events and in May, people can expect to attend a Fyre Festival pop-up that will humorously recreate the food and festivities offered at the disastrous event—where countless Millennials shelled out hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for an experience that was not at all executed as promised. Since then, Fyre Festival has gone on to inspire the creation of two documentaries and land co-founder Billy McFarland in prison for fraud.
People will be able to get the full Fyre Festival experience for free, which includes palm trees, relief tents and cheese sandwiches inspired by the open-faced sandwiches that went viral. Tickets are also available for the pop-up's opening night party, which promises "express entry with a fishbowl cocktail."
