Capitán Naranja (Captain Orange) is a playful fruit container concept designed by Florencia Luz Duarte, a student of industrial design at the University of Buenos Aires.
The packaging holds a single orange, which makes the fruit inside look lively and animated. The character is designed to be appealing to kids, offering an alternative to snacks that are filled with unhealthy sugars. Even after the orange has been removed from the container and eaten, the spaceship container can be used as a toy itself, or filled with an other fruits and treasures. Since there are many different types of oranges, it could even be fun to see more characters from Captain Orange's team of space explorers, turning the different fruit containers into collectible objects that kids will covet.
