You don't get exactly what you would have expected in Frai packaging, for the line of beverages would be stored in bottle-like holders that have more in common with cartons. Student designer Cassandra Cappello wished to freshen up the presentation of common grocery store items like chocolate milk, milk and orange juice with a surprisingly creative image.
This was achieved by playfully mimicking the silhouette of the iconic milk bottle with a paper-based material. Forming a cylinder for the body of each container might have been possible, however, a deliberate decision was made to express strong geometries in the folds of the flat medium. Card tops match the card cartons and the bases of Frai packaging are rather clever as well. These take pinwheel patterns from the overlapping assembly of the unique vessels.
