Airplane food has never offered the best culinary experience, that is until the Food Flight event. A unique culinary competition hosted by Southwest Air, Food Flight was introduced to unsuspecting passengers while enroute to their destination. Essentially, it involved four competitors handpicked by crew members who were challenged to create their own dish with peanuts as its main ingredient.
Created in collaboration with Dish Trip to celebrate National Peanut Day, Food Flight spiced things up in a sweet way. From marshmallows to chocolate and more, the peanut-based dishes look absolutely delicious. Food Flight will surely inspire other ways for crew members to interact with passengers in a fun, safe and memorable manner. Hopefully no one had a peanut allergy!
