Women.com is an Invite-Only Female Social Network for the Ladies
Laura McQuarrie — September 19, 2014 — Lifestyle
There are apps and websites that are designed to help women connect with other women, but Women.com is taking it a step further with its female social network, which is only accessibly by invite.
The site was developed by Susan Johnson, who used to work for Facebook. She realized the need for an online space where women could participate in "a community of women helping women." The network is a devoted place where girls and women from around the world can start a conversation, ask a question and form friendships with other like-minded individuals. As the site grows, Johnson plans to include filters to the site so it's easy to sort discussions by topics like love, family, fashion and careers.
