Australia's Hungry Jack's (also known as Burger King's branch in Australia, since another fast food company holds the trademark to "Burger King) is now using a holographic fast food container for its fries for a reason that goes beyond just aesthetics.
The limited-edition fry boxes that hold the thick-cut fries were specifically designed with a shiny paper coating that will reflect light and as a result, scare off hungry birds who may otherwise feel inclined to swoop in. As such, the packages are being called 'The Pack That Scares Gulls' and they are printed with sayings such as "Scram!" and "Shoo!"
The limited-edition Packa That Scares Gulls are currently only available in select Hungry Jack's locations on the coast, including Bondi Beach, Surfers Paradise and Seaford.
