China Has Successfully Tested Drones to Help Clear the Extreme Fog
Michael Baxter — March 12, 2014 — Eco
China has been facing extreme fog and seems to have finally come up with an idea to help curb the climate issues. The country has now officially (and successfully) tested drones to help clear the atmosphere of fog.
The drones will work by launching chemicals into the atmosphere that is set to help clear the pollution that has been affecting the country as of late. The chemicals essentially freeze the pollutants in the air and when frozen, they simply fall out of the sky.
Altogether the initial test will be using 176 pounds of chemicals, which should be able to clear up to five kilometers of the extreme fog altogether. The drones will go into action later this month.
