Now being the enviro-nut that I am, I always recycle any water or pop bottle in my posession (and I know you do too) even if it means looking like an idiot hanging on to an empty container. However, there is a startling statistic that only about 50% of recycled bottles actually get recycled. Perhaps if all liquid containers were designed more like the Eco Coke Concept, that statistic would be drastically lower.
Designed by Andrew Kim, the Eco Coke Concept is made of 100% organic material (sugar cane byproducts to be more specific). One big feature about this design is that it is much more collapsable, making it more condusive to carrying to a recycling bin. Hopefully we'll see this in the market sooner than later.
