The Totality by Market Garden Brewery is an eclipse-themed beer and it taps into the excitement surrounding a rare cosmic event that will last for mere minutes in April 2024.
After the hazy IPA made its on-tap debut, the brewery was approached by Heinen's, a local grocer, to partner for a canned collaboration.
The next time that Cleveland will be in the path of totality, it will be 2444—and with this in mind, the brewery decided to go big. “I don’t want to have to wait 420 years to brew the next batch of cans,” said Sam McNulty, co-founder of Market Garden Brewery in Cleveland, "So we made a very large one this time.”
