Every day, more than 1.8 billion pictures are shared online—but what if you could donate a photo and have each shot be meaningful to more than just you? This is the question that Flickr's Pic Aid is asking, with a service that now makes photos available for purchase. by clicking this small button when images are uploaded to the photo-sharing site, users are able to select a charity they wish to help out. Some of these include the WWF, UNICEF, Amnesty International and PETA, which will receive $1 for every time the photo is purchased.
Now, in addition to having personal meaning, photos of what you ate for breakfast, where you wantfamily vacation and cute animals have the potential to mean so much more when you donate a photo with Flickr's Pic Aid.
