These domestic abuse ads, designed for Amnest International, are meant to be thought-provoking and raise awareness for the ongoing problem within many households world-wide. In an act to create awareness for child abuse, the advertising school 'Brother' designed the series of ads for the powerful human rights organization Amnesty International.
The ads feature poignant portraits of children baring bruised facial features. Some children have severely bruised eyes, while others look as if they have broken noses. Each ad is also accompanied with a caption that indicates the relation to their mother's features. They signify that their mothers’ were also hit in the same spots with captions that state things like "He has his mother's nose" and "She has her mother's eyes."
