This Building is the New Home Of Kentucky's 'Blue Run Spirits'

Kentucky-based Blue Run Spirits is set to move into a phenomenal new distillery building in the city of Georgetown, with Bjarke Ingels Group designing an eye-catching edifice that offers more than enough room for both distilling and headquarter operations.
The new Blue Run Spirits headquarters and distillery building is aptly dubbed 'Meander,' with the structure slaloming around trees and ponds, with the overall design elevated by generous use of landscaping, wide walkways and even a spacious amphitheater. While the main building measures in at around 3,250 square meters, the project will also feature a 1,850 square meter warehouse that will be used to stash barrels of the famous Kentucky bourbon.
Bjarke Ingels Group has stated that the wavy design is inspired by the Royal Spring, an iconic spring located in Georgetown. 'In the same way the Royal Spring is shaped by how the water flows through it, Blue Run Distillery is shaped by the flow of the whiskey and the processes and people who make it,' said the firm's founder Bjarke Ingels.
