‘Cigg Seeds’ Makes Discarded Cigarette Butts Desirable

Discarded cigarette butts make for terrible additions to any outdoor space. However, ‘Cigg Seeds’ poses the question: “What if this nasty habit could contribute to, rather than subtract from, the beauty of outdoor spaces?”
To address this concept, ‘Designs On’ proposes a slight twist to classic cigarette packaging. The cigarette filters of ‘Cigg Seeds’ are biodegradable and embedded with wildflower seeds, so that when the cigarettes are dropped onto the ground, they will flourish into beautiful flowers. Although this idea is not practical for populated urban areas without green space, this idea would certainly be beneficial for parks and other grassy areas where smoking is inevitable.
Although the habit is harmful, it is nice to see that there is some potential for cigarettes that litter the ground to do some good.
