Restaurant technology leader OpenTable and dating app Bumble teamed up to create a trio of Top 100 dining guides to support all sorts of meet-ups between users. There are Best Restaurants for a Date, Best Restaurants for a Friend Date and Best Restaurants for a Business Meeting, each of which matches a Bumble mode: Bumble Date, Bumble BFF and Bumble Bizz.
In response to finding that 48% of people surveyed found it stressful to meet an online contact in person, OpenTable and Bumble stepped in to take out the guesswork and the uncertainty. Once the Bumble app is downloaded, users can see the campaign pop up within all three of Bumble's modes for a limited time. When they do, they can simply swipe to discover spots within their own city and beyond.
