Lay's Created the Crispy Puffer Jacket from Recycled Crisp Packets
Laura McQuarrie — December 18, 2021 — Eco
To celebrate the flavor that won the Iconic Restaurant Flavours campaign in Holland and Belgium, Lay’s and Fitzroy teamed up to create the Crispy Puffer Jacket. Made from the recycled chips bag foil of the two losing flavors, this jacket also shares filling in the form of the winning flavors—Lay’s x Subway Teriyaki in Holland and Lay’s x Pizza Hut Margherita in Belgium.
For the project of turning chips and chip packaging into a fashionable item, Lay's worked with Amsterdam fashion label XPLCT. Fans can enter for their chance to win a jacket, and one of each will be given out in Holland and Belgium.
The Iconic Restaurant Flavours campaign kicked off in the spring and now that a winner has been declared, crisps fans will enjoy new additions to the brand's permanent product portfolio.
