ClearForMe Expands to the Baby Care Space
Grace Mahas — January 27, 2023 — Life-Stages
ClearForMe, the centralized beauty ingredient platform known for its work on ingredient transparency, is expanding into the baby skincare space to fill this gap.
The first brand to partner with ClearForMe is Proudly, a functional baby care brand designed for melanated skin co-founded by Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade. Launched in April 2022, Proudly is on a mission to create high-quality, thoughtfully formulated, baby essentials and is an educational resource for families, caretakers, and communities of color. Its functional baby care with gentle, cleaner, plant-based ingredients are studied and selected by a Black dermatologist to power formulas that work to nourish melanated skin.
ClearForMe's "clickable ingredients" technology is powering Proudly's e-commerce ingredient lists, providing easy-to-understand definitions and functions that are backed by a specialized team of dermatologists, technologists, ingredient analysts, and database experts. By utilizing these interactive ingredients, parents and families can access enhanced product descriptions that provide clear, straightforward definitions and functions of each ingredient. Consumers can simply tap on the product they want, select an ingredient that is listed, and find out if it is the right fit for them.
In celebration of this exciting launch, ClearForMe and Proudly are hosting an Instagram live today at 9 AM PST/12 PM EST. Join Proudly President Pamela Cholankeril, Proudly Dermatology Director Dr. Boayke, and ClearForMe CEO and Founder Sabrina Noorani as they discuss the details of this first-of-its-kind partnership.
