Hana Mae Lee turned heads with her sculptural cigarette butt fascinator at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. The actress best known as the quiet 'Lilly' from Pitch Perfect collaborated with Alain Lafaille to create the custom sculpture she wore atop her head.
The pair was inspired to transform the ugliness of a used cigarette into something artful and interesting. Even though the red carpet look has some scratching their heads and asking "Why?," Lee's attitude is "Why not?" Either way, it has certainly got people talking.
The non-smoker continued to make bold fashion statements with the rest of her sartorial choices, offsetting the unusual hat with a black cut-out dress by Marco Marco and Ferragamo heels.
