Cafe Ignatius is a non-profit coffee bar located within the St Agnes Korean Catholic Church in Los Angeles. Located near the University of Southern California, the cafe and coffee roaster has been pioneered by Father Choi, who is originally from Korea.
Cafe Ignatius serves pour-over coffee that has been roasted in-house and features a limited menu that operates on a pay-what-you-can model. The funds raised from the passion project go toward supporting those in the community who are in need.
The quaint cafe sits within a two-storey house, which boasts a charming stone path that weaves through a courtyard of rose bushes, and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The upstairs of the house is occupied by three study rooms and washroom facilities.
