Chrome Heart's Art Basel Exhibition Features a Candy Shop
Ellen Smith — December 6, 2017 — Art & Design
While most special exhibitions ask guests to exit through the gift shop, Chrome Heart's Art Basel Miami pop-up is integrating its gift shop into the exhibit, in the form of a unique candy retailer that's offering consumers branded goodies and confections.
The co-curated exhibition was designed in collaboration with Theo Niarchos of 6817 Gallery, and will re-imagine the space to evoke a sense of optimistic and youthful wonder. To achieve this, the brand will be incorporating a fully functioning candy shop into its exhibition, complete with lollipops, gum ball machines and an assortment of branded and nostalgic treats.
The candy shop will accompany the exciting exhibition, which includes the works of Harmony Korine, Andy Warhol and more.
