Australian artist Cj Hendry has revealed an indoor playground art exhibition titled Plaid. CJ Hendry is known for his work in hyperrealistic depictions of sneakers and luxury objects, from the Nike Air MAG to the PUMA Clyde. CJ Hendry spoke about his art exhibition, saying: "Plaid encourages the viewer to connect with the inner child and experience the simplicity of joy before growing up and feeling the burden of adulthood."
The art exhibition contains a two-story 5,000 square-foot space filled with colorful beams and plaid patterns. The art exhibition is inspired by the design of public parks, which merges the playground concept in a public park with art sculptures. The art exhibition also contains 24 original artworks that CJ Hendry created to complement the colorful beams that also act as a guide to visitors across the space. The art exhibition will be on view in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, from April 17 to 23.
