Laura McQuarrie — October 11, 2019 — Lifestyle
British supermarket chain Iceland is offering a preview of the Christmas food that can be found in its 2019 range, which includes starters, mains, desserts and bite-sized finger foods for enjoying in between. In the range, more than a dozen products are free from plastic packaging to meet its goals of significantly reducing its use of the material, and the range is also free from palm oil with plenty of vegan-friendly options.
Some of the standout products in the Iceland Christmas food range include the meatless No Bull Burger Sliders made with plant-based protein and the No Duck Spring Rolls, which are made with meat-like jackfruit and hoisin sauce. For dessert, Iceland is offering up decadent treats like the dairy-free No Moo Chocolate Snowflakes and the theatrical Luxury 5 Gold Rings Belgian dark chocolate mousse.
