The Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Doughnut Sandwiches are one serious dessert. Made out of chocolate, ice cream and donuts, each ingredient on its own is enough for most people, but someone has decided to combine the three to make an ultimate ice cream sandwich.
Conceived and created by Sarah J. Gim of Tastespotting, the Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Doughnut Sandwiches may use already made glazed donuts and slow churn ice cream, but for those with more time on their hands, they can make everything from scratch. Relatively easy to assemble, the glazed donut is simply halved, then coffee ice cream placed in between and all is held together with the melted chocolate. They can even be frozen for later.
