The Centre for Better Health, a charity based in the United Kingdom, runs two social enterprises that were recently featured on SocialBusiness.org. First up was Better Health Bakery, a shop that sells slow-produced bread and was recently featured in an article on the Guardian's Social Enterprise Network called "Socially sound bakery hopes to make enough dough to become sustainable." Second, and perhaps less marketable in a popular sense although they have good traction selling to health care providers, is Better Health Products Ltd.
The Centre for Better Health, which focuses on mental health, well-being and recovery, was founded in 1959 by John Wilder.
