UK mobile donation charity DONATE recently introduced tap+DONATE contactless units, making it easier for charities to collect cashless donations.
The units will be available for rent or sale and consist of a contactless pad and a frame that can be branded to match a charity. With this system, donors are able to tap any major contactless card to quickly and easily make a cash-free donation. With Barclaycard, DONATE has reached an agreement that ensures charities may collect funds immediately on receipt of a contactless box rather than having to setup their own banking acquiring account. This streamlined system is set to offer many benefits to any charitable organization registered with DONATE.
The Royal Association for Deaf people will be one of the first partners to use tap+DONATE in October.
