The Calgary Farmers’ Market 'Open All Winter' ad campaign is at once hilarious and adorable. It revolves around classic snow angels. Nevertheless, these are not typical impressions. Instead of depicting the impressions of children or even adults, these snow angels were made by animals. From cows to chickens, the print ads revolve around the kind of meat a person could find at this particular farmer's market, even in the winter.
Conceived and executed by Wax, an ad agency obviously based out of Calgary, Canada, the Calgary Farmers’ Market 'Open All Winter' ad campaign was art directed by Hans Thiessen with creative direction by Trent Burton. The snowy images were shot by photographer Philip Rostron and retouched by Instil Productions.
