This Buzzfeed Ad Sees Men and Women Switching Roles
Michael Baxter — March 20, 2014 — Pop Culture
This Buzzfeed ad really put gender roles in focus with this hilarious new video. In the clip, we see a man take on the role of a woman in a few different scenarios to hilarious effect.
In the first, we see a man trying to pry his girlfriend away from the football game and uses his naked body covered in Doritos to do it. In the original, we see a woman doing that, and what Buzzfeed is doing is highlighting the often unfair ways in which men and women are treated by the media.
The video shows off some pretty funny scenarios, but it does go to show the double standard in the ad industry.
